All shipments are insured; therefore claims for damage must be made with the freight company. Do not return the merchandise to Goodfellas transmissions, unless prior arrangements have been made. Products return freight collect will be refused and returned at customer’s expense. back to top
SUMMARY OF TERMS & LIMITED WARRANTY
Due to the unusual stress placed on high performance parts and because we have no control of how they are installed, used, maintained, or modified outside of our own design and construction. Goodfellas Transmission & performance warrants that all of its products are free from defects in material and workmanship, for a period of 30 days including transmissions that were purchased without a torque converter and/or a period of 90 days for the Boss, Enforcer, and Hitman. Custom built transmissions that were purchased with a torque converter; extended 1 year for Goodfellas transmissions purchased with a torque converter and paid the current additional extended warranty cost. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase. There are no exceptions to this. We recommend that you keep your invoice or receipt because of proof of purchase is required. The limited warranty shall only cover the original purchaser. This warranty shall not be extended to any other person or transferee. This warranty only covers the product(s) purchased. There are no refunds; you understand under no circumstances can refund be issued. A signed warranty slip must be returned to Goodfellas Transmissions before any warranty service is provided. This limited Warranty and Terms & Conditions of Sale are subject to the laws of Florida. Any action brought or held on basis of this Limited Warranty and/or Terms & Conditions of Sale will be brought and held in the courts located in Tarpon Springs, Florida. back to top
WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY OF THE FOLLOWING
Any and all shipping costs, including freight damage claims. Rental Cars loss of work, any labor costs, removal/reinstall fees, towing costs, inspection fees and any other incidental costs or damages which may be associated with product failure. Any product that has been physically altered improperly installed or maintained. Any product used in an improper application, abused or not used in connection with the proper parts. Any product that is defective due to accident, neglect or unauthorized repair. Any product where proper cooling and/or fluid levels have been maintained. Any product that contains broken parts or external damage. There is no implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Goodfellas Transmissions obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of its products by Goodfellas Transmissions facility. There are no warranties that extend beyond the description on the face of this warranty. This warranty is subject to the following; rebuild of transmissions will be limited to replacement of all friction material, gaskets, and seals. There will be an additional charge for parts that are damaged as a result of items not covered in this warranty. back to top
WARRANTY IS VOID IF THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT MET
Transmission cooler lines must be flushed to avoid using old oil or metal shavings from previous transmission. High performance and towing applications must install an auxiliary transmission oil cooler. TV cable (for transmissions that have one) must be adjusted properly for adequate function for the transmission. All transmissions must be installed, adjusted and maintained by an experienced certified transmission technician. Transmission oil and gear oil must be filled prior to installation. Any and all repairs or tampering made to a product by or an agent acting on behalf of the customer without prior written authorization from Goodfellas transmission will void this warranty. back to top
PRODUCT EXCHANGE
If a product does not remain operational for the full warranty period then upon return of the detective product shipping pre-paid to Goodfellas transmissions by original purchaser, Goodfellas will provide a product exchange. The original purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs. Goodfellas transmissions reserve the right to inspect defective products before an exchange is made. back to top
MERCHANDISE RETURNS
All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Special orders, special order deposits and down payments are not refundable. A warranty form (packaged with each product) must be signed and returned within 30 days from the original date of purchase for the warranty to be valid. No returns or adjustments to billing after 30 days on any products. There are absolutely no refunds, only product exchange will be offered for any and all returns. In order to provide better customer service, we require prior approval before customer returns merchandise for warranty or for other reasons. To obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number, please call Goodfellas Transmissions. All merchandise returned should be sent freight prepaid and insured and delivered to 215 tarpon industrial drive, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689, GOODFELLAS TRANSMISSIONS. Goodfellas transmissions is not liable for any taxes or duties associated with international shipments. Items returned for credit within 30 days of original purchase date must be in perfect or un-used condition. Orders cancelled prior to shipping are subject to a 10% restocking fee. back to top
