700R4 "The Boss "

The Boss Transmission comes with only the finest components and is built to be the highest standard on the market. Guaranteed to be the toughest, meanest, most durable transmission on the market. When you have this transmission in your car you will be the Boss of Bosses on the street or strip.

The Boss Comes with:

A Goodfellas reprogramming kit (we rework the valve body and completely go through it to make sure there are no stuck valves).
Raybestoes Z-PAK with 13 clutches (replaces the factory 5 clutches in the 3-4 drum). The Z-PAK is made up of heat treated steels that withstand more heat, delivering longer transmission life.
Raybestoes high temp energy clutches throughout the rest of the unit, along with all new steels, bushings, and rings.
A Sonnax .500 boost valve (insures nice crisp clean shifting with no delays).
4140 hardened pump rings
Teflon Pump bushing (allows more abuse)
13 vane pump rotor
29 element sprag
Sonnax Wide Open Throttle Valve
Sonnax Beast Sunshell (three times thicker than factory).
Hardened input shaft and drum.
3" wide heavy duty Kevlar band
Corvette servo (has 30% more holding power, giving you full throttle shift with out burning up the band) .
5 pinion planetary
We block off the 1,2,3,4 accumulators to give you a solid, firm, and crisp shift. We discard the springs in the accumulator to eliminate problems associated with springs breaking.;
The Boss offers excellent versatility for uses such as: daily driving, street/strip, extreme towing/pulling, extreme 4x4 (rock climbing), and nitrous applications. We have even put one of these bad boys in a custom made ATV!

Be sure to tell us how you want your car/truck to shift. We can set up three different levels customized for you.

The first level is a factory or Cadillac type shift (engages nice and clean with no shock).
The second level is a nice firm crisp clean shift (which at light throttle will let you shift with coffee in your hand, but at wide open it is going to throw you back in the seat a little).
The third level is a radical shift, and you will definitely know when your car engages in gear (if you have your girlfriend or wife in the car you will see her face light up when you take her for a ride).
