4L60E "The Hitman "
The Hitman transmission is built using the finest components and to the highest standards on the market. It is Goodfellas entry level transmission and is built to take out the competition. The Hitman is designed to be a step above stock and to give you the most bang for your buck. When you have the Hitman transmission in your car you will have the confidence to say that you snuff out the competition.
The Hitman includes:
1. A Goodfellas reprogramming kit (we rework the valve body and completely go through it to make sure there are no stuck valves).
2. Raybestoes 9 clutches (replaces the factory 5 clutches in the 3-4 drum). The 9 clutches are heat treated steels that withstand more heat, delivering longer transmission life.
3. Raybestoes high temp energy clutches throughout the the unit, along with all new steels, bushings, and rings.
4. A .500 boost valve (insures nice crisp clean shifting with no delays).
5. 4140 hardened pump rings
6. Teflon Pump bushing (allows more abuse)
7. 10 vane pump rotor
8. 29 element sprag
9. Sonnax Wide Open Throttle Valve
10. Sonnax Sunshell (three times thicker than factory).
11. Hardened input shaft and drum.
12. Kevlar band
13. Corvette servo (has 30% more holding power, giving you full throttle shift with out burning up the band).
14. We block off the 1,2,3,4 accumulators to give you a solid, firm, and crisp shift. We discard the springs in the accumulator to eliminate problems associated with springs breaking.
The Hitman is designed for: daily driving, light street/strip use, medium towing/pulling, medium 4x4 (rock climbing), and nitrous applications. Be sure to tell us how you want your car/truck to shift. We can set up three different levels customized for you.
* The first level is a factory or Cadillac type shift (engages nice and clean with no shock).
* The second level is a nice firm crisp clean shift (which at light throttle will let you shift with coffee in your hand, but at wide open it is going to throw you back in the seat a little).
* The third level is a radical shift, and you will definitely know when your car engages in gear (if you have your girlfriend or wife in the car you will see her face light up when you take her for a ride).
